Setting up the environment

• no chsh, have to edit /etc/passwd and use /usr/bin/bash
• ships with a gcc that can compile 64bit (-m64) in /usr/sfw/bin
• add this to .profile PATH=...
• install make from http://www.sunfreeware.com/indexintel10.html
• as superuser, gunzip the file, then pkgadd -d file it
